Busy busy busy.....

Haha.... those are the words that i could say for now....

Boss is giving me more responsibilities which indicates that i'll be playing key roles in the company in the future.... Practices in Hands percussions had also increased due to concert will be coming soon on this july.... Businesses is growing steadily everyday.... And i had also started a rebuilding programme for my old school in drums.... Sigh~ Been working 24/7 ever since...

Went back to Kuala Terengganu last labour day to see my mom and old school friends, another issue came up.... When i'm back to kt , we use to go chat together just to catch up what we've missed. Mom used to be the curious one .... she likes to dig everything out from me. Even when i somehow declined to answer to her questions, she will just change the topic a while and asked me back again..... Then, i would be like , " Oh , man....."

Back to the issue i mentioned, She finally popped up my "phobia" question - which i've expected to happen .... It all started when i was having lunch at home....

Mom : Where were you whole day yesterday....?

Hamkor: Told u liao ma.... today at school teaching drums....

Mom: No wonder you come back la... come back not visit me but play your drum only....

Hamkor: Don't say like that.... I only teach them for 1 day only....and after all i still have 3 more days of leave.... So, by coming back i can kill two birds with one stone ma....

Mom : oh ~

Hamkor: (phew~)

Mom: You so keng ar...? Stay at KL so long already still got people know you play drum in school ar....

Hamkor : Well, what can i say... ( sarcastically laughed for a while...) No la....i met them at KLPac , we chit chatted a little bit and they asked me if i was willing to teach them again... Looking at their eyes, i can't just abandon them like that.

Mom : Ai ~ always want to make yourself so busy dun know for what....

Hamkor : (could only smiled.....)

Mom : Wei ... you still haven't got girlfriend ar....? Ah girl (that's my sis) got 2nd bf liao lo ... u still haven't find 1 meh...?

Hamkor: (choked... chocked for a while ) Can we PLEASE skip this topic.....? I can handle myself.... And I'm so busy.....

Mom: ( Noded her head...) So, how's the food ...? I simply cook only .....

Hamkor: Everything is nice when you're hungry.

Mom: ( smiled and say...) You know ar....that day Godmother ask when she can be "nai nai" le...?

Hamkor : is it...? Ask ah girl to kahwin la....!

Mom : ( Laughed a little bit because she knows that i know what was she going to say...) Then , when is your turn...?

Hamkor: ( Need to say something that can conclude this topic) Dun worry la.... I'm going out with a lot of women and i just got them shortlisted only...

Mom: No wonder la no girlfriend ! Go out with so many girls how can have a serious girlfriend le... bla bla bla ( you don't have to know the rest .... it was a LONG speech even i also forgotten what she said...)

Hamkor: ( oh shit....!) Aiya.... I still haven't found the ONE la.... Even if i found her,but if she dislikes me, i also "bo bian" have to find another 1.... and 1 more thing your son not lengchai le...What happened ....?

Mom: Hey, your face kira okey already le... Not bad la... still got attraction ....

Hamkor: You just say that to console me che......

Mom: Hey, i got a friend now doing teacher training here and she's from KL le...

Hamkor: ( Oh God, Please help me....) Ohhhh .... So this your plan .....?!! But, I dun believe in distanced relationship le....

Mom: Tomoro when you come to church , i'll introduce you to her .... You guys be friends first lo....

Hamkor : ( want meh...? A while later, my phone rang) Aiyo... i need to go out liao.... Woody is wants to bring me out to Kenyir....

Mom: You better come to church tomoro ar .....

Hamkor: ahhh.... we'll see how it goes la.... Bye !

Mom: ( with a low tonned voice) Always like that ....

End of Another Hamkor's Secrets.....

I love my mom a lot for her being so over-caring and her try-to-be-cunning-but-cannot ways to put me into submission.... and guess what, the meeting didn't turned bad after all...

My first Concert show....

Last February, went to experience Jay Chou's Asia tour concert with a few friends which was held in stadium merdeka. Knowing that he's a famous figure in the entertainment industry, i was already harbouring high anticipations on his concert upon entering the stadium that had 20,000 fans filling up the space.

Truthfully, the concert really started out with a bang where it began with some flashy digital video on the screen and combinations of spectacular fireworks with well choreographed lightings that gave the audience a great impact of of the Taiwan Pop Singer's aura.
During the concert, he performed new songs, new mv's and he also talked a lot with some sense of humour... Wow, that's a big change for him huh ....?
Apart from that, Jay also knows how to cater his audience's needs from having sexy girls and cool dances for the boys to playing various musical instruments to mesmerize the girls - not to left out some well-dressed-for-dinner-aunties on the front rows too !

That night Jay sang about 20 songs and even that amount of songs sang couldn't make the crowd stop echoing for encores and somehow had to reappear (or planned to do the encores) for like 3 times. Really enjoyed 1 of the encores as we were keep chorusing the "tofu" song and made the girls beside us got irritated by our singing. Hahaha ~
Overall, it was a splendid time of enjoyment eventhough only get to stand on the last row of the stadium - thanks to "Nicky" CWW.... =P

The Star - Speaking our mind for the first time....

Recently... an article titled "All for the sakes of winning votes" from the star caught my attention big time. This is because all media papers have been under the government's scrutinization. That is why certain news published in the dailies that even has the tiniest bit of connection with the government interest me a lot. Because that is how they want us to perceive it.... I however, tend to think what they wanted to achieve by publishing it to the people.

yeah.... About the article, i think it's really about time for somebody to write something that represent the people's views about the government, or the opposition. I mean although all that involve in politics are dirty, but how a reigning government of a country since independence that had served for the people so long has become a party that do not share the same visions of our forefathers...? I mean if you guys really had pay attention on the papers or tv news in the past or surfed the net in the past years, the government has been giving us nothing but s**t ! what ....? you don't know .... ? Let me refresh your mind then....

1. Corruption - Remember how our Zakaria friend built his mansion on a municipal owned land without spending a penny and not being penalised eventhough he was caught right handed. What happen if the culprit is only an ordinary civilian and not belong to politics...? i'm sure he's already behind bars by then.

2. Mismanaged Funds - Can you even believe the government could spent RM 1,200 on a screw box when you could get them at RM 50 in Careefour. I mean..... Which dumbo would approve such funds...?

3. Discrimination - Remember how Hishammudin yield his keris with anger saying "jangan cabar kami....!" what....? is it wrong to fight for what we deserve....? yet it was done in an open discussion , not come to fighting yet.... So, where is that so called power-sharing spirit huh...?and i can be even more racist in this issue.... but i chose not to....

4. Fuel hikes - We, as a citizen understands the governments pain paying subsidies. But bear in mind, other countries do not have to pay AP's and tolls. And because of that, automobiles in malaysia is the highest priced in the region yet our salary is one of the lowest among developed countries. Who's more sympathetic here....?

5. Justice malpractice - Never knew that such practice was a tradition all along untill Lingam's case was brought up. What's funny was when after Lingam Said " He looks like me, sounds like me and speaks like me. But , i would not say 100% it's me."; Surprisingly, the judge agreed to his statement. Seems like malaysia do have a lot of dumbos.... To me, whether Lingam will be convicted guilty or not; the case itself had already became a mockery joke to the world. Come to think of it, were all the perceived injusticed cases ruled in the previous court fights had been fixed by the higher grounds ....? Man.... who needs another court when you have a malfunction 1...?

Those are the big 5 reasons that i'm truly dissapointed with the present ruling party. From the way i see it, the overwhelming power they had all this time had made them "forgetful" of the people and letting them reaped all our taxes like no one's watching. As the election date March 8 approaches , candidates from all parties are playing their same old tricks again which is making empty promises for the sake of winning votes. To me, politics are always dirty. How i vote will based on 2 factors which is:

a.) his personal political contribution to his candidacy region, and

b.) the agenda of the party he's representing as a whole to determine how it would affect the future's economy.

So, how will you vote for your future....? Therefore, make your vote counts !!!!

My Nickname(s) Story….

Sometimes, it is amazing to see how a name can be nicknamed to all sorts of names. Since I too have a lot of nicknames, I thought maybe it’s a good idea to write them into a blog. So, without further delay, I’ll just relate them to you in a story.
On the 22nd of December 1983, I was accidentally given the name Abraham Moses. I myself had a hard time pronouncing my name when I was young…. And because of that I accidentally made my own first nickname. How did it happen? Well, when I was a toddler my mom starts calling me by my name – which I’m still not aware of. Whenever she calls my name, I would give her a half confuse and half smile look….. ( I wonder how did I do that…?) . So when she could not get my attention, she would hold my arms and tell me, “ Abraham….follow mummy say Abraham…..” Then my face would be like “is it time for milk…?” and answered “ Yam… Yam…”. Since then, everyone in my family including my maternal relatives calls me “ Yamyam”. ( Damn…. I miss my mom’s Cook Home Rice - Translate that in cantonese). The nick yamyam was slowly transformed to yam, tomyam, Ayam, yang yang from the mouths of my maternal cousins.
However, my dad did not call me by that nick. I guess he thinks its gay and he wanted to instill some manliness into my growing being. So he called me “boy” instead. This nick was given to me when I started to had a Japanese-look-a-like-when-she-was-a-baby sister. This was to enable him to call the right child without messing with their names. (Pa, just kidding la….haha). As for my paternal relatives, they call me “boboy”, most probably that nick was influenced from my dad’s given nick.
So as I grew up, I get to understand the significance of my name. Where ever I go and whenever I say my name, people around me would say great people about this name. Among the malays, they say my name is nama nabi ( if my friend hear this, she might think of different thing. Eg: Midvalley --> KimGary or “ Three of my Friends cancel already" --> “ Three of your friends got Cancer already ?!!!! ( hehe… sorry lo… =P ) In English, we call them Prophet names. The name Abraham is famous for his faith to God while Moses was the man who wrote the ten commandments and also the one who stick his tongkat into earth and separated the sea into half in order to create an escaping route for the Hebrews to salvation. Some… would call me Abraham Lincoln – the President of the United States. I like one of the statement saying, “ with Great power, Comes with Great Responsibility…” ( Cho to Ma te ….! Isn’t that from Spiderman ???? Wth….)
As I realize these names were famous and noble among the people who bear it, I then thought of somehow “creating” one myself. So, wherever I go when people ask me my name, I would always try to pronounce it the right way. However, this was problematic for my Chinese primary school mates. You know how common Chinese names are structured into 3 words or characters ( Starts with a Surname and followed by 3 characters). So, in order to join the pack and avoid being a total outcast; my name was chop into 3 words too… Ah Ba Ham ! ( Believe it or not, that nick still stays alive until now…) . Others… were like Ah Bla ham , Ah be Ra ham and etc. Well, can’t blame them as our English at that time was still not up to that level yet. When I was in high school, they started to go funny and really short with my name like Ah ham, bra bra ( What the…), Ham lou, Ham ye, Ham kor, Ham….. Luckily I was immune of this as I already had enough “training”. During my university studies, my nick was more of a masculine nick. Instead of having my friends calling me Abraham, I ask them to call me Abs – even though I didn’t really got my 6 packs yet. Some even call me “King” ( I got this nick when I did some comedy act during 1 of my induction… Damn proud that time for my Stephen chow’s inspirational acting skill….). As for during sports like football, guys back in the university would call me Nakata …… ( bangga nih…)
There’s this girl who gets creative with my nickname when I played with her “mood”. I started with some mild “pokes” to her mood…. Initially, she responded back by calling me ApaHam or Mr.A and she didn’t even bother to care after that; I assumed that her friends use to do the same and probably because of that she somehow got immune to such pokes. Then, I gradually increase the “pokeness” just to get her attention. When she felt she was challenged, she started to retaliate and nicknamed me Hamburger Hamishu, Hamster and bla bla ham. But, once she ate the bait ( which means she started to be moody) ….HAhaahaha…. My Nickname was never-ending…. Here, I present to you Hamkor’s Top 10 Nickname…
1.) Bra bra Ham = i wonder if that’s posible for me…. Hehe…
2.) See Ham = Only can call this when u see me...otherwise, u have to say SeeNoHam !
3.) Ham dan qiu yan = Salted Egg Superman. Wonder why the chinese like weird heroes…?
4.) Ham Chim Peng = Some Chinese delicacy. Can find it on the net du…..
5.) Ham Sam Seng = Confucious say, “ you go to jail , Bad boy !”
6.) Ham Mani Home = She even made some voodoo spell from my name….?
7. ) Ham Sap Ham = I am….
8.) Ham be lang = ham with stripes…..
9.) Ma – Har – Ba = My name spelt from behind… she really got me….
10.) Ham Ka Chan !!!!! = Hahaha…. Guess she’s Moody Hot !
